This is Sadie Mae, an 11 year old Golden Retriever. We are fostering her for the Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue. She has spent most of her adult life living outside under a tarp shelter
with 2-3 other adult dogs. She had pneumonia/bronchitis, urinary tract infection, rotten teeth, and a big-ole-ugly-thingy by her right eye. All those things have been taken care of now and she is ready to live the rest of her life in good health. She is wearing the collar until she gets the stitches removed by her right eye. She knows how to enjoy the good life though. She took to the cushy dog bed right away, and she is not shy when it comes to bellying up to the dinner table. She loves attention, likes to chase the tennis ball, is good in the car, good on a leash, and a good helper with chores. We will have her until she gets adopted, which means she could be here a long time.
