While my sister Janice and her husband David were visiting a few weeks ago we got together at our brother Al and his wife Joann's house for crab. Joann and I each bought 8 crabs, mine were from 1.6 to 2.25 lbs. I did not have mine cleaned, I feel it is part of the ritual to clean them your self. Joann had hers cleaned at the store. We made a pretty good dent in them, there were a few left over for Joann to have crab salad the next day and Jim and I still have one in the freezer.
